This cellar air conditioner is a split-system type with a built-in evaporator that can be integrated into furniture and a remote condensing unit with a cooling capacity of 1130W, designed for a perfectly insulated room with a maximum volume of 48m³, set to 12°C. The insulation requirements are as follows:

• The walls and ceiling must be insulated with at least 80 mm of polyurethane, 150 mm of rock wool, or 120 mm of extruded polystyrene or cork.
• If a glass door is installed, it must have a UW coefficient ≤ 1.8 W/m²K.
• The floor must also be insulated with at least 40 mm of polyurethane.
• The solid or glass door must be insulated and airtight, with a UD coefficient ≤ 1.8 W/m²K.
• The cellar must be completely airtight, with no air infiltration.

This air conditioner consists of two parts connected by a refrigeration line, requiring installation by a certified refrigeration technician for the use of R513A refrigerant gas:

• An air-cooled GCH condensing unit to be installed outdoors
  • It can be wall-mounted (optional) or placed on the ground. There must be a 160 mm gap between the unit and the wall to allow the cover to open.
  • It features a crankcase heater. The air intake is at the back, and the exhaust is at the front.
  • An optional low-noise kit is available to reduce operational noise by 3 decibels.

• A built-in evaporator to be integrated into furniture, installed in one of two ways:
  • A niche with a height of 480 mm, a width of 800 mm, and a minimum depth of 370 mm, featuring a magnetic front panel with two side openings for air intake.
  • A niche with a height of 480 mm, a width of 480 mm, and a minimum depth of 370 mm, featuring a magnetic front panel without side openings. In this case, four openings of at least 30 mm wide and 350 mm high must be created at the back of the furniture for air intake and circulation.

This Vintage model is equipped with an HGR% humidifier for cellar humidification and heating:

• A sensor continuously measures the humidity level and adds moisture if the cellar is too dry.
• The Cold Water Recycling system stabilizes humidity at an optimal level by ingeniously recycling condensate, preventing excessive humidity.
• It also includes a heating function.
• A water supply must be provided, connected to the main water network using a 6.35 mm (1/4'') diameter hose for humidity management.
  • Optional: If the water supply pressure exceeds 2.8 bars, a water connection safety kit must be installed, including:
    • A safety shut-off valve
    • A pressure limiter preset to the optimal value
    • Connectors and 10 meters of flexible tubing (6.35 mm diameter)

A wired control unit is included, which can be surface-mounted or recessed, ensuring refrigeration system operation in both summer and winter.

The electronic temperature regulation, adjustable from 8°C to 18°C, can be managed in three ways:

• Remote Control. Allows simple temperature adjustments.
  • Equipped with a digital display to:
  • Monitor and adjust temperature and humidity
  • Configure technical settings of the air conditioner
•  Can be installed inside the wine cellar or in another room, with a maximum range of 100 meters in an open field (actual range may be reduced due to wall thickness or cellar location).
• Optional Winesupervisor I ("Modbus" version). Connects to your home automation system for centralized control.
• Optional Winesupervisor 3 ("Connected" version. Internet-connected system for remote monitoring and control via a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Enables:
  • Real-time monitoring of cellar operation
  • Full history of cellar conditions and air conditioner activity
  • Instant alerts for alarms
  • Remote adjustment of settings
• Important for Winesupervisor 1 & 3: In case of technical issues, Ma Cave à Vin is notified in real-time and can monitor the unit remotely.

Additional Options : If gravity-based condensate drainage is not possible, a condensate pump can be integrated into the evaporator to remove condensation via a hose to the wastewater system, drain, etc.

Technical Specifications :

• The air conditioner comes with the necessary charge for a 6-meter refrigeration line. For longer distances, an additional 20g of refrigerant per meter is required. The maximum distance between the two units is 20 meters.
• The refrigeration pipes for both liquid and suction lines must be insulated (at least the suction line).
